We are so excited to get into our Winter 2024 Session here at The Achievement Zone!
This registration survey will begin November 30, 2023, and will run through December 7th, 2023.
The Winter Session will run from January 2nd, 2024 to May 24th, 2024
TAZ will be offering day habilitation services each day
Please read thoroughly through the options for each day and only choose one from each day that you would like to attend.
Drop off and pick up locations will be noted for each selection.

Monday, January 1st, 2024 - New Year's Day
January 15th, 2024 - Martin Luther King Day
February 19th, 2024 - President's Day

TAZ Fall 2023 Program In-Person Offerings
MONDAY
1. OPTION #1: Inventory, Money Management, Community Activities (This includes preparation for Wandering Wagon, Shopping for Cooking classes and community visits that will change weekly) Drop off and pick up is at the Arc Center 1158 Wayside Road, Tinton Falls, NJ
2. OPTION #2: Fitness, Cinema Review (Class at ZR Fitness gym, lunch, movie review at Middletown Arts Center..) Drop off and pick up is at the Middletown Arts Center 36 Church Street, Middletown, NJ
TUESDAY
1. OPTION #1 : Wandering Wagon & Technology (Prepare and serve bagels and coffee or lunch to customers at the Work Opportunity Center alternating with technology class.) Drop off and pick up is at the Arc Center 1158 Wayside Road, Tinton Falls, NJ
2. OPTION #2: Travel Training, Therapeutic Movement, Yoga (Take the train to Red Bank, Movement Class at Count Basie, take train ride back to MAC for yoga class). Drop off and pick up is at the Middletown Arts Center. An Additional $2.10 will be needed for the train ride.
WEDNESDAY
1. OPTION #1: Community Service, Community Activity (volunteering at either the Long Branch or Freehold Food Pantry, followed by an activity in the community which will change each week). Limited space available for this option. Drop off and Pick up is at the Arc Center 1158 Wayside Road, Tinton Falls, NJ
2. OPTION #2: Community Trips (Trips will vary each week) Drop off and pick up is at Panera Bread 31 US 9 S Manalapan. Space is limited.
3. OPTION #3: Community Trips (Trips will vary each week). Drop off and pick up is at Panera Bread 1050 Broad Street Shrewsbury, NJ. Space is limited.
THURSDAY
1. OPTION #1: Wandering Wagon & Community Activity at Kula Farms. (Prepare and sell items to staff and participants at different Arc locations, then engage in volunteering at Kula Farms in Asbury Park. Appropriate clothing for the weather required.) Drop off and pick up is at the Arc Center 1158 Wayside Road, Tinton Falls, NJ
2. OPTION #2: Drumming & Art (Travel to Count Basie for a drumming, music and/or drama class, then return to the Middletown Arts Center for lunch and an art class.) Drop off and pick up is at the Arc Center 1158 Wayside Road, Tinton Falls, NJ
FRIDAY
1. OPTION #1: Let's Do Lunch (Prepare and serve lunch for Arc staff and participants). Drop off and pick up is at the Arc Center 1158 Wayside Road, Tinton Falls, NJ
2. OPTION #2: Community College Connection (Attend a class at Brookdale Community College, have lunch in the student cafeteria and then travel for a yoga/nutrition class.) Drop off and pick up is at the Arc Center 1158 Wayside Road, Tinton Falls, NJ An Additional $332.50 is required for the class at Brookdale. Payment options include paying online or mail a check made out to the Arc of Monmouth. Space is limited.
