We are so excited to get into our Summer 2025 Session here at The Achievement Zone!

This registration survey will begin April 23rd, 2025, and will run through April 30th, 2025.

The Summer Session will run from May 28th, 2025 to August 29th, 2025

TAZ will be offering day habilitation services each day.Please read thoroughly through the options for each day and only choose one from each day that you would like to attend.Drop off and pick up for each day will be at the Arc of Monmouth (1158 Wayside Road, Tinton Falls, NJ.) 

*TAZ will not be in session on the following holidays:
 

Monday, May 26th - Memorial Day
 

Tuesday, May 27th - Staff Training Day
 

Friday, July 4th - Independence Day

TAZ Summer 2025 Program   

Monday:

OPTION #1: Inventory, Money Management, Music Class – (This includes preparation for Wandering Wagon, Shopping for Cooking classes. The afternoon will consist of a new music class where the group will listen & learn about the history of music from the 50’s-today’s hits!) Drop off and pick up is at the Arc Center 1158 Wayside Road, Tinton Falls, NJ

OPTION #2: Community Trips *SAME TRIP WILL BE OFFERED WEDNESDAYS* - Visit various locations to discover new places while socializing with your peers. Extra money may be required for admissions. The trip schedule will be sent ahead of time for the month. Space is limited. Drop off and pick up is at the Arc Center 1158 Wayside Road, Tinton Falls, NJ

Tuesday:

OPTION #1: Wandering Wagon & (Prepare and serve bagels and coffee and/or lunch to customers at the Work Opportunity Center followed by class in the afternoon for breakfast group) Drop off and pick up is at the Arc Center 1158 Wayside Road, Tinton Falls, NJ

OPTION #2: Fitness & Yoga - Join us in a fitness class with our coach Zack or Nick from ZR Fitness! The group will engage in different cardio based activities, along with games and other fun, safe workouts! In the afternoon, we will have yoga class with our one and only Kelly! Drop off and pick up is at the Arc Center 1158 Wayside Road, Tinton Falls, NJ

Wednesday:

OPTION #1: Alternating Weeks Community Service, Money Management & Additional Activities (volunteering at either the Long Branch or Freehold Food Pantry, followed additional activities). Limited space available for this option. Drop off and Pick up is at the Arc Center 1158 Wayside Road, Tinton Falls, NJ

Thursday:

OPTION #1: Wandering Wagon & Community Activity. (Prepare and sell items to staff and participants, then engage in shopping or physical activities (Ex. Zumba, Chair Yoga, Bowling) Drop off and pick up is at the Arc Center 1158 Wayside Road, Tinton Falls, NJ

OPTION #2: Water Water Everywhere! Enjoy your day at either the beach or a splash park. Money may be needed for admission. We suggest: water, a change of clothes, towel and SUNSCREEN. Please keep in mind water activities are weather permitting. Going to the movies will be the second option for this day as we will email in advance if they need money. Lunch can be brought from home or purchased. Please keep in mind lunch with depend on what beach / park we attend that day. Drop off and pick up is at the Arc Center 1158 Wayside Road, Tinton Falls, NJ

Friday:

OPTION #1: Let's Do Lunch (Prepare and serve lunch for Arc staff and participants). Drop off and pick up is at the Arc Center 1158 Wayside Road, Tinton Falls, NJ

OPTION #2: Walk the Boards & Yoga (Weather permitting, in the morning, the group will visit different local boardwalks to do a walk. In the afternoon, Kelly will join the group for yoga class!) Drop off and pick up is at the Arc Center 1158 Wayside Road, Tinton Falls, NJ

*PLEASE NOTE: While attendance while enrolled in TAZ is very important, we understand that vacations, camps and other summer fun activities come up! Please do not hesitate to join TAZ if you would only be missing (1) week or so.
