Who We Are

Helping Those with I/DD Thrive

About The Arc of Monmouth

At The Arc of Monmouth, we know how discouraging it is for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and their families to go without the necessary support and resources. We believe the strengths, abilities, and dreams define each individual, not the challenges. That’s why we’re committed to helping those with I/DD thrive.

We are a nonprofit that empowers individuals with I/DD to live fulfilling, independent lives. With help from our gracious volunteers and donors, we achieve this by providing support services that enable our clients to live, work, and participate in their communities.

The Arc of Monmouth works with community partners to serve the more than 1,600 individuals with I/DD in Monmouth County through advocacy, services, and education.

These life-changing services include family support, residential and independent living, recreational activities, and adult day programs. We also offer our clients interested in further education a college program named Kach (Keep Achieving).

We are a community-based organization and a resource to assist you, your family members, neighbors, and co-workers. We are here to help!
